Prototype for a Pause

This piece started with the table top. The stone is called “Rainbow Stone” and is a type of sand stone from India. The patterns and colors of the stone are nebulous,dreamy and perfect to sit and gaze into as you sip a cup of coffee or a martini. Bob Sanderson and I worked on this set together. We were striving to create an atmopshere and an attitude of slowing down.
