A union of two woods from Papua New Guinea, Kwila and Malas. Top opens to a divided tray; Bow front doors swing on Chinese inward curve; secret box behind shelf. All brass hardware made by artist. A complex piece that has the effect of drawing the viewer ionside for a closer look. 1993.
